Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan set to tour the Caribbean
Cricket West Indies have confirmed a busy 2026 home calendar featuring Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan across formats, with Test cricket returning to Antigua and Trinidad.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Sri Lanka’s tour will begin in June with three ODIs and three T20Is, all scheduled at Sabina Park in Jamaica. The two-match Test series will then move to the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
New Zealand’s white-ball tour will feature five ODIs in July. The first three matches will be hosted in Guyana, while the final two games were shifted to Barbados because of logistical challenges.
Pakistan will close out the home season with a two-Test series in Trinidad and Tobago. The opening Test at Brian Lara Cricket Academy will mark the venue’s first-ever men’s Test match, while the second match will be played at the historic Queen’s Park Oval.
The Test series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan will form part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle, where West Indies are currently placed ninth.
CWI chief executive Chris Dehring said Guyana and Barbados agreed to share hosting duties for the New Zealand ODIs after discussions around operational challenges.
The 2026 season promises a packed Caribbean summer with major international action spread across Jamaica, Antigua, Guyana, Barbados and Trinidad.
