While the contest could be MS Dhoni’s last competitive match in his career, more focus has been on the weather as rain is predicted to play spoilsport.
According to several weather reports, it is expected to rain with an 80 per cent chance of the match getting washed out.

In the build-up to the match, Bengaluru has witnessed pre-monsoon showers, with the last four days experiencing heavy rains.
If the trend is to continue, Saturday will be no exception as the RCB vs CSK clash could get washed out.
There is no reserve day for the league stage matches of the IPL 2024, meaning the points will be shared between RCB and CSK.
In this case of points shared, CSK will qualify for the Playoffs, knocking out Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Delhi Capitals (DC) and RCB.
