Gujarat Titans (GT) all-rounder Vijay Shankar took a stunning and stumbling catch near the boundary against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on April 10. Shankar took the catch to dismiss RR’s Riyan Parag who had already scored 76 off just 47 balls.
The catch happened in the 19th over of RR’s innings with Parag looking to charge against Mohit Sharma. The GT bowler, who had already been hit for a six earlier in the over, bowled a slower ball. Parag muscled the ball towards long-off where Shankar took a fantastic catch. Have a look at the video below:

Earlier, Gujarat won the toss and elected to field first against RR, who have been unbeaten in the tournament so far. GT started well by keeping both RR openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler, in check. Jaiswal was eventually caught behind off Umesh Yadav after throwing his bat around for a 19-ball 24.
