During the fourth and final T20I between England and Pakistan, on Thursday (May 30) at the Kennington Oval, London, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam created history. He became only the second batter in men’s T20I to join the 4,000-run club. The right-hander achieved the feat during his 22-ball 36 to join Indian superstar Virat Kohli in the elusive club. Despite Babar’s historic feat, Pakistan lost the final T20I by seven wickets and conceded the four-match series 2-0 to Jos Buttler & Co.
