Rana is set to play only his second T20I, having made his debut against the UAE more than a year ago.
Tawhid Hridoy continues to captain the side in the absence of the injured Litton Das.
Australia, meanwhile, made one change by bringing in Hardie for Xavier Bartlett, adding extra depth to their batting line-up. The allrounder is making his first international appearance since Australia’s series against South Africa in August last year.
Spin-bowling allrounders Nikhil Chaudhary and Joel Davies retain their places after making their international debuts in the series opener.
