Fast-bowling allrounder Javon Searles, Titans team owner Chitranjan Rathod, and team official Trevon Griffith have been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket after being charged with multiple breaches of anti-corruption codes related to the 2023–24 Bim10 tournament in Barbados.

The charges were brought jointly by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) under their respective anti-corruption codes. The alleged offences relate primarily to the Bim10 tournament, which falls under the jurisdiction of CWI’s anti-corruption regulations. Griffith, however, also faces an additional charge linked to international matches under the ICC code.

According to officials, Rathod has been charged with three breaches of the CWI anti-corruption code, while Searles faces four charges. Griffith has been charged with four breaches under the CWI code along with one separate offence under the ICC’s anti-corruption code.

The trio have been accused of violating Article 2.1.1 of the CWI code, which relates to fixing, attempting to fix, or improperly influencing the result, progress, or conduct of matches during the 2023–24 Bim10 tournament. They also face charges under Article 2.1.4 for allegedly soliciting, instructing, encouraging, or facilitating players or support staff to commit anti-corruption offences.

Another charge, under Article 2.4.4 of the CWI code, accuses them of failing or refusing to cooperate with a reasonable investigation conducted by designated anti-corruption officials.

In addition, Searles and Griffith have been charged under Article 2.4.2 of the CWI code for allegedly failing to report approaches or invitations to engage in corrupt conduct related to the tournament.

Griffith faces an extra charge under Article 2.4.7 of the ICC’s anti-corruption code for allegedly obstructing the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit investigation by concealing or tampering with information that could have been relevant evidence.

All three individuals have been given 14 days from March 11, 2026, to respond to the charges.

The ICC stated that the case forms part of a broader investigation into corruption linked to the Bim10 competition. Earlier, USA batter Aaron Jones was also charged with five breaches of ICC and CWI anti-corruption codes in connection with the same probe.

The ICC added that it would not make further comments while disciplinary proceedings remain ongoing.

Searles previously represented the West Indies at the Under-19 level and played for Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League between 2014 and 2019. He also featured in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders during the 2018 season.
