India holds the upper hand in this tally, having won on all occasions before in this competition. After how they beat Afghanistan in their first Super 8 match, the Men in Blue look confident of maintaining their winning run. 

Although their combination looks sorted on paper, they still have a few worries to iron out, including Virat Kohli’s batting position and Shivam Dube’s form. While both continue to struggle in this tournament, India might stick with Kohli, probably bringing him back to his best position (number three), replacing him with Yashasvi Jaiswal to open alongside Captain Rohit Sharma. 

In that case, Dube makes way for Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant, who has done well so far at number three, might get demoted to number five. With Suryakumar Yadav at four and Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel to follow, India’s batting line-up is intimidating for any opposition.

The Bangladeshi side will enter the contest following a lacklustre showing against the mighty Aussies in their first Super 8 tie, losing the rain-hit game by 28 runs. A team filled with unbelievable talent is yet to produce a dominating performance in this tournament, and with India on the opposite side on Saturday, they can hope to make this day theirs.

Besides, India must also be wary of their bowling attack, consisting of two-seamers on the top of their prowess – Tanzim Sakib and Mustafizur Rahman, with rookie spinner Rishad Hossain to come in later.
