‘All eyes on Vaishno Devi’: Pakistan speedster Hassan Ali condemns horrific Reasi terror attack

On June 9 (Sunday), a terrorist attack shocked Jammu and Kashmir‘s Reasi district, that killed 10 pilgrims. The attack, claimed by Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba’s TRF outfit, took place when a group of men opened fire on a bus returning from the Shiv Mandir temple in the Reasi district, causing it to fall into a gorge. Now, Pakistan pacer Hassan Ali has reacted to the devastating attack. Hassan, who isn’t part of the Babar Azam-led Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad, reacted to the terror attack on his Instagram handle.

Incidentally, the terror attack took place on the same day when Narendra Modi was sworn in as India’s Prime Minister for a record third term. In addition, it took place on a day when India and Pakistan locked horns with each other at the ongoing T20 WC, being held in West Indies and the USA. Talking about the high-voltage clash, held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, Babar Azam-led Pakistan dismissed India for 119 in 19 overs riding on Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf’s three wickets each.

In reply, Rohit Sharma-led India restricted the Men in Green for a paltry 113/7 to win by six runs, courtesy of Jasprit Bumrah’s 3 for 14.

Coming back to the unfortunate terror attack, it happened when the bus was on its way from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. Ten people lost their lives and 33 were wounded in the attack on the 53-seater bus.
