Gambhir takes dig at RCB

“There is no rivalry between KKR and RCB because KKR have two IPL trophies and RCB zero,” Gambjit said in the build-up to the match.

KKR and RCB will be facing for the 33rd time on Friday as KKR dominate the head-to-head 18-14 in their favour. The two sides meeting in the inaugural match of 2008 has good memories with Brendon McCullum scoring an unbeaten 158 at the same venue.

At the time of writing, RCB were 84/2 with Virat Kohli playing on 41 while Glenn Maxwell was playing on 1. Earlier skipper Faf du Plessis was dismissed for 8 while Cameron Green departed for a well-made 33 off 21.

Interestingly, KKR have not lost a match at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in their last five visits while no team is yet to lose a match on home turf in the current season.
