Tasked to chase 186, DC had a poor start with Ricky Bhui (0) and Mitchell Marsh (23) departing early. However, David Warner and Rishabh Pant kept the scoreboard ticking before the former was dismissed by a superb fielding show in the wide slips by Sandeep Sharma. Warner missed out on his fifty and was sent packing on 49 while Pant was dismissed for a below-par 28 off 26.
DC were restricted to 173/5 in their 20 overs with Avesh Khan’s final over being the crucial factor. He gave only four runs when DC needed 17 runs to win the match. His precise show helped RR register back-to-back wins.

However, it was the batting display from Riyan Parag that stole the spotlight as he scored 84 off 45 to take RR to 185/5. After being 36/3 at one stage, RR looked in poor touch, however, Parag was given a helping hand by Ravichandran Ashwin (29) and Dhruv Jurel (20) which helped them reach the big total.
