It was a monumental evening for Mumbai Indians’ Rohit Sharma on Wednesday (Mar 27) as he became the first player from the franchise to appear in 200 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. To mark the special occasion, Rohit was presented with a special kit numbered ‘200’ by legendary batter and former Mumbai Indians’ captain Sachin Tendulkar at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The appearance against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) also saw him become just the third player after Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni to record the feat for a single franchise.
