Sahibzada Farhan delivered a match-winning performance with a शानदार unbeaten 106 off 57 balls, guiding Multan Sultans to a thrilling six-wicket victory over Hyderabad Kingsmen in PSL 2026. Chasing a massive target of 226, Sultans completed the run chase with eight balls to spare, climbing to the top of the points table while Kingsmen remained winless.

Farhan’s innings, studded with eight sixes and seven fours, marked his second PSL century and ninth overall in T20 cricket. His aggressive knock overshadowed impressive half-centuries from Kingsmen’s Maaz Sadaqat and Sharjeel Khan. Sadaqat smashed a rapid 62 off 26 balls, while Sharjeel remained unbeaten on 51 from just 26 deliveries in his PSL comeback.

The high-scoring encounter was played on a batting-friendly surface that offered true bounce and pace, allowing batters to play freely. Kingsmen made full use of the conditions early on, with Saim Ayub and Sadaqat providing a fiery start. Their side posted a strong powerplay score of 74/1, one of the best in the tournament so far.

However, Multan Sultans responded in style. Farhan, along with Steven Smith, stitched together a crucial century partnership that laid the foundation for the chase. The duo raced to 100 runs in just 7.1 overs, putting immense pressure on the Kingsmen bowlers. Smith’s aggressive strokeplay complemented Farhan’s dominance, as boundaries and sixes flowed consistently.

Despite a few missed chances in the field by Kingsmen, including a dropped catch of Farhan and a missed stumping opportunity, Sultans maintained control throughout the chase. Shan Masood also contributed valuable runs before falling, while Farhan ensured there were no late hiccups.

The turning point came when Farhan took apart Marnus Labuschagne’s over, smashing two sixes and a four to reduce the required runs significantly. From there, the result was never in doubt, and Farhan fittingly sealed the victory with a towering six.

Earlier, Kingsmen posted a formidable total thanks to explosive batting performances. Sadaqat’s power-hitting and Sharjeel’s late assault, including a 30-run over, boosted their total beyond 220. However, poor bowling execution under dew conditions and costly fielding errors proved decisive.

With this win, Multan Sultans continue their unbeaten run in PSL 2026 and sit comfortably at the top of the table. On the other hand, Hyderabad Kingsmen face mounting pressure as they remain at the bottom with three consecutive defeats.
